Introduction
Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved school and all the fun things that come with learning! But if there’s one thing that I love just as much, and has also been a huge part of my life for years, it’s softball!
Loving two things that require so much time in order to excel in it has always brought this dilemma: how do I actually become good at both, at the same time?
That is the question I hope this blog will help answer.
Who I Am
Hey! I’m Emma Jackson, I’ve been playing competitive softball for 8 years and am now a student-athlete at the University of South Carolina – Beaufort. I am a Catcher who loves to help lead my team on the field.

I love playing video game series like the Legend of Zelda, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Pokémon, hanging out with friends, singing, trying out new resturants and cafés, napping, and most of all, improving myself!
The feeling I get from training my softball skills and studying material in school is one I love. It’s a mix of accomplishment, confidence, and gratitude for those who’ve helped me get to where I am today.

Helping others achieve that feeling is something that I hope to do. That is why I created this blog, in hopes that I will help people find ways that they too can excel in their student-athlete journey!
I’m here to give real advice to those who want to excel in both the classroom and on the field, just like I do. Through sharing tips, tricks, ideas, advice, motivation, and morals from lessons I’ve learned myself through the years, I hope to help you achieve your goals too!
Closing Thoughts
It hasn’t always been easy; every day brings new challenges and lessons I have to adapt to. But over the years, through my experience, I have grown into a successful student and athlete all in one.
